Easy nadan Fish curry with kudampuli




Ingredients:


Fish - 15 medium pieces (cleaned)
Shallots - 7-8 nos, cut into small pieces (length-wise)
Garlic-10 nos, chopped
Ginger - 1 medium size, chopped
Curry leaves 10-15 nos
Tamarind (kudam puli) -2 medium pieces (cleaned)
Oil
Mustard seeds- 1tbl spoon
Water
Salt
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tea spoon
Chilly powder - 2 tbl spoon
Fenugreek powder -1/4 tea spoon


Method:


Heat oil in a wok and put mustard seeds then add shallots, garlic and ginger. When it is fried, add turmeric powder and chilly powder. When these got fried, add 1 cup of water and tamarind. Wait till the mixture comes to boil, then add the fish pieces, salt and fenugreek powder. Close the lid and wait for the fish to cook.
